Controls Field Technician - Remote

Overview

Oshkosh AeroTech is seeking a motivated Controls Field Technician with assembly and controls experience to work with a team of other field engineers to install controls and monitoring equipment at airports around the globe.

In Short

• Work remotely as a traveling technician.
• Extensive travel required, Monday to Friday.
• Install controls and monitoring equipment at airports.
• Coordinate with airport and airlines for badging and ramp passes.
• Provide ongoing troubleshooting and support.
• Must have electrical background and exposure to low-voltage wiring.
• Experience with industrial maintenance and PLCs is a plus.
• Must be able to pass TSA background checks.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to travel up to 80% of the time.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in assembly, fabrication, or troubleshooting.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must obtain a passport.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
• Experience using common hand and power tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift and move up to 55 pounds.
• Experience interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings.
• High degree of technical proficiency.
• Ability to perform tasks wearing appropriate PPE.
