Overview

The Safety Officer at JLL is responsible for ensuring a safe and comfortable work environment, focusing on health, safety, and environmental issues while promoting compliance with safety standards.

In Short

• Ensure safety for employees and sub-contractors.
• Demonstrate leadership in health, safety, and environmental issues.
• Plan and execute maintenance for Fire Fighting and Electro-Mechanical equipment.
• Set up Standard Operating Procedures for critical environment management.
• Conduct risk assessments and manage operational risks.
• Maintain records of incidents and safety compliance.
• Drive training and reporting on HSSE performance.
• Ensure adherence to EHS or HSSE guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with vendors for service resolution.
• Promote a proactive HSSE culture.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Fire Engineering or Fire Safety.
• 5-6 years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of fire suppression and emergency medical services.
• Experience in facilities management preferred.
• Strong team leadership skills.
• Ability to implement risk management strategies.
• Experience with ISO 14001 and 45001 management systems.
• Capability to work in various environments.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Proactive in identifying and resolving issues.
