Operating Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Operating Engineer will focus on operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility equipment on all systems, ensuring that all systems are up to applicable standards.

In Short

• Operate and maintain facility equipment systems.
• Perform maintenance on Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, and Control systems.
• Respond to client service requests and troubleshoot operational problems.
• Maintain HVAC systems and associated equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety and hazardous material policies.
• Monitor quality and pricing of maintenance work.
• Perform periodic checks of tool and instrument inventory.
• Maintain responsibility for preventative maintenance and inventory control.
• Work collaboratively with outside contractors as necessary.
• Any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Technical expertise in one craft area (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing).
• Multi-skilled in other technical areas.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair facility equipment.
• Strong focus on safety and compliance.
• Experience in facility services and maintenance.
• Good communication skills for client interactions.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Organizational skills for inventory and maintenance tracking.
• Attention to detail for quality assurance.
