Senior Engine Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Developer, you will be part of the RuneTek core tech engine team working on our bespoke cross platform engine powered by modern C++ with a state of the art rendering engine using Vulkan and OpenGL.

In Short

• Programming using C++/GLSL/Python and some Java.
• Enhancing and maintaining existing game engine technology.
• Maintain and develop a AAA threaded renderer powered by OpenGL and Vulkan.
• Develop new graphics features into a modern rendering engine.
• Assist in the upkeep of cmake C++ build systems.
• Research and develop new game engine technology.
• Profile and monitor performance of products.
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance.
• Lead technical discussions and system design.

Requirements

• Highly proficient in C/C++.
• Experience with cross platform game engine development.
• Exposure to high level shading languages, preferably GLSL.
• Experience with multi-threaded programming.
• Worked on modern rendering engines with Vulkan or OpenGL.
• Knowledge of modern low level rendering APIs.
• Competent with Python and C++ build systems.
• Good knowledge of GPU architecture.
• Experience with performance programming.
• Familiarity with GPU profiling tools.
