Overview

As a Senior Animator on RuneScape: Dragonwilds, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality animations that enhance gameplay and support narrative storytelling in an open-world survival crafting game.

In Short

• Create and implement benchmark-quality in-game animations.
• Work closely with the Lead Animator to uphold quality standards.
• Collaborate with Tech Art and Engineering for efficient pipelines.
• Prototype and iterate animation features supporting gameplay.
• Contribute to motion capture planning and execution.
• Communicate with departments to meet technical and design requirements.
• Develop reusable animation systems for efficiency.
• Support external partners with feedback and guidance.
• Contribute to recruitment and team development.
• Promote a positive creative culture within the team.

Requirements

• Strong portfolio showcasing professional and personal animation work.
• Advanced understanding of animation principles and pipelines.
• Experience animating a variety of characters and creatures.
• Proven ability to create gameplay-enhancing animations.
• Experience with game engines like Unreal Engine.
• Strong storytelling sensibilities and visual communication talent.
• At least one shipped title in a senior animation role.
