Game Artist - 12 Month FTC - Remote

Overview

The Game Artist will create, deliver, and assist in the production of a broad range of 2D and 3D visual elements, working closely with developers and designers to produce high-quality artwork that supports gameplay.

In Short

• Produce high-quality concept art for characters, environments, and objects.
• Create icons and illustrations for in-game UI and marketing.
• Produce 3D character and environment assets.
• Work with industry-standard tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, Zbrush, and Maya.
• Collaborate with Concept Artists, Animators, and other disciplines.
• Ensure assets are correctly implemented in the game engine.
• Improve existing in-house tools.
• Collaborate with the design team to solve problems.
• Maintain and develop the game's visual style.

Requirements

• Ability to create environments with attention to composition and lighting.
• Strong understanding of architecture and character design.
• Solid graphic design skills showcased in portfolio.
• Experience in creating UI elements for PC and mobile.
• Excellent skills in 3D modeling using Maya.
• Ability to create high-resolution sculptures in Z-Brush.
• Good UV texture placement and mapping.
• Proficiency in texture map creation.
