Overview

As a Senior Network Engineer on RuneScape: Dragonwilds, you’ll help shape the architecture and feature set that powers the online experience for our players in the newest multiplayer game in the RuneScape Franchise.

• Design and maintain network and online systems for multiplayer games.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, and artists to deliver high-quality features.
• Test, debug, and optimize network code for stability and performance.

Requirements

• Proven expertise in designing complex network systems for multiplayer games.
• Strong understanding of online gaming systems and backend technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of C++ and experience with C# or Python.
• Familiarity with Unreal Engine 4 or 5.
• Skilled in profiling and optimization, especially for bandwidth and latency.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
