We are currently seeking a smart and determined experienced Accounting Assistant to join our growing team at Bernard Law Injury Lawyers, where every employee makes an impact.

In Short

• Coordinating mail flow in and out of office
• Processing and filing large volumes of legal documents
• Assisting with supply inventory
• Keeping financial records up to date
• Performing basic office tasks such as filing and data entry
• Bookkeeping and Accounts Payable
• Fact-checking invoices for payment
• Handling communications with clients and vendors
• Assisting with audits and resolving discrepancies
• Maintaining confidentiality of information

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Finance, or similar field
• 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience
• Experience with QuickBooks
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Excellent computer skills; experience in accounting software
• Ability to multitask and work independently
• Professional manner and strong ethical code
• Commitment to working efficiently and accurately
• Strong aptitude for numbers and financial reports
• Ability to prioritize and manage deadlines
