Business Unit Leader - Property Condition Assessments - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a senior level civil/structural engineer to lead our Florida-focused Property Condition Assessment (PCA) engineering team, with a focus on Structural Condition Assessments (SCA) and particularly as applied to Florida state, county, and city legislative requirements for recertifications of existing buildings.

• Lead the PCA engineering team focused on Florida.
• Manage and lead projects throughout their lifecycle.
• Conduct client-facing aspects of projects.
• Prepare budgets and proposals for projects.
• Manage execution of assessment and repair projects.
• Serve as Engineer of Record (EOR) for projects.
• Coordinate with other divisions on projects.

• Maintain knowledge of PCA and SCA standards.
• Manage successful financial outcomes and client satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET accredited school.
• PE license in Florida required.
• 15+ years of experience in structural engineering.
• Experience in structural condition assessments.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Desire to learn and grow within the profession.
