Android Developer - Remote

Overview

As an early member of our Android development team, you will work closely with researchers, threat intelligence team, and product leaders to develop and design our Android application, building APIs, and ensuring performance reliability.

In Short

• Develop all aspects of our Android offering, including the application and components of the security analysis software.
• Design and implement UI/UX, APIs, and integrations with other systems.
• Work with the security research team to implement security measures to protect against threats and attacks.
• Stay updated with the latest security standards, best practices, and emerging threats.
• Collaborate with security researchers and iOS developers for seamless integration.
• Optimize the performance and scalability of the software.
• Profile and analyze software performance bottlenecks.
• 3+ years of experience developing mobile applications for Android.
• Experience developing Android apps using Kotlin.
• Willing to occasionally travel for team events.

Requirements

• Proficient with Android Jetpack components.
• Experience with Android UI principles and best practices.
• Practical experience with Agile software development and test-driven development.
• Proficient understanding of Git.
• Experience with Ktor is desirable, but not required.
