ServiceNow Developer (SPM) - Remote

Overview

iTech is looking for a mid-level ServiceNow Developer with experience in the Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) module, formerly the IT Business Management (ITBM) module. The ServiceNow Developer should possess a robust background in ServiceNow development, with a strong preference for those with hands-on SPM experience.

In Short

• Implement and configure the ServiceNow SPM/ITBM module to meet project requirements.
• Collaborate with program leads, managers, and PMO support staff to ensure smooth transition and integration.
• Develop dashboards and reports to enhance visibility and tracking.
• Ensure end-to-end visibility of all projects within the tool.
• Design and develop solutions on the ServiceNow platform, ensuring they meet business requirements and follow best practices.
• Customize ServiceNow applications using workflows, forms, business rules, UI pages, UI scripts, and other customization techniques.
• Integrate ServiceNow with other systems using web services, MID Server, email, and other relevant technologies.
• Ensure adherence to platform governance processes, including code reviews, documentation, and compliance with ServiceNow upgrade cycles.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable, efficient, and maintainable solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including system design documents, architecture diagrams, and configuration guides.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3+ years of SN SPM Module experience.
• Minimum of 5+ years of SN Platform experience.
• Strong understanding of project portfolio management.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience with ServiceNow development.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide scripting, React, and other ServiceNow scripting languages, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience.
• 1-3 years of experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and AJAX.
• 1-3 years of experience working in Agile development environments, including participation in sprints and scrum meetings.
• Understanding of database concepts, including SQL and relational database management systems, with 2-3 years of experience.
• 1-3 years of experience with designing and customizing the user interface in ServiceNow.
• 1-3 years of experience with the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, development, testing, and deployment.
