ServiceNow Architect - Remote

Overview

iTech AG is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Architect to support a federal program by leading the design, development, and implementation of secure, scalable, and compliant ServiceNow solutions. This role serves as a senior technical authority across the ServiceNow platform, responsible for defining architectural standards, guiding development teams, and ensuring solutions align with federal requirements, industry best practices, and mission objectives.

In Short

• Serve as the technical lead and architectural authority for the ServiceNow platform within a federal environment
• Design, define, and maintain the overall ServiceNow solution architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance with federal standards
• Lead the architecture and development of ITSM, CSM, and custom ServiceNow applications
• Architect, design, and oversee the implementation of ServiceNow portals and web-based user experiences
• Design and govern REST-based integrations between ServiceNow and external systems
• Establish and enforce ServiceNow development standards, architectural patterns, and governance processes
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to ServiceNow developers and implementation teams
• Collaborate with government stakeholders, product owners, and delivery teams to translate requirements into secure, scalable technical solutions
• Ensure platform configurations and customizations align with FedRAMP and federal security requirements
• Support platform upgrades, performance tuning, and technical debt reduction initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (required)
• 6+ years of experience in a ServiceNow development and/or architect capacity
• 2+ years of experience serving in a ServiceNow Architect role
• 2+ years of experience with ServiceNow portal and web development
• 2+ years of experience building and supporting custom ServiceNow applications
• 2+ years of experience designing and implementing REST-based integrations
• Demonstrated experience working within Agile and SAFe delivery frameworks
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, data model, and best practices
• Ability to design secure, scalable solutions in federal or regulated environments
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with government and contractor stakeholders
