Program Manager - Remote

Overview

Istari is seeking a skilled and driven Program Manager to oversee the successful execution of up to four concurrent programs critical to advancing our impact across federal and commercial sectors.

In Short

• Manage multiple high-priority programs simultaneously with distinct deliverables.
• Lead program planning, schedule development, budget tracking, and risk management.
• Serve as the primary interface with external stakeholders including government and commercial partners.
• Prepare and deliver briefings and status updates to senior leadership.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks through proactive planning.
• Track and report on program performance against milestones.
• Ensure quality of deliverables and resource alignment across programs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering and Customer Success.
• Support continuous improvement efforts across program workflows.
• Eligible for U.S. Government security clearance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience managing complex programs in defense or technology sectors.
• Demonstrated success in overseeing cost, schedule, and performance.
• Strong command of program planning and risk management best practices.
• Exceptional communication and coordination skills.
• Experience managing contracts and performance-based deliverables.
