Overview

The IT Project Management Specialist is responsible for supporting technology related projects and program development activities of varying size and complexity from initiation through completion across cross-functional project teams including vendor management.

In Short

  • Controls IT projects through effective management of resources and schedules.
  • Facilitates requirements gathering and planning of projects.
  • Establishes full project plans including schedules and risk management.
  • Manages vendor relationships and project budgets.
  • Schedules meetings and provides documentation.
  • Supports continuous improvement efforts across the PMO.
  • Provides consistent project reporting through standardized systems.
  • Applies principles of scope, resource, time, and quality management.
  • Ensures training and documentation are completed for projects.
  • Develops and maintains KPIs and risk logs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT or Business or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience managing system implementations and software releases.
  • Proven track record as a project manager in cross-functional projects.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.
  • Agile Scrum Master certification preferred.
  • Strong understanding of IT systems and software development.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience with Agile Project Management tools.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
