Overview

The Bilingual Patient Support Specialist acts as a central liaison for the patient support program, providing assistance and information to healthcare practitioners and patients while ensuring quality standards are met.

In Short

  • Provide support to patients and healthcare professionals through various communication channels.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing calls related to patient support programs.
  • Assist patients in navigating drug insurance processes.
  • Deliver counseling and compliance support to patients.
  • Handle clinical referrals and report adverse events as required.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Work flexibly across multiple teams as needed.
  • Maintain professional conduct and contribute to team development.
  • Support administrative tasks related to patient services.
  • Represent the company in external activities when necessary.

Requirements

  • Bilingual in French and English; Spanish is a plus.
  • Minimum one year of relevant experience in healthcare or customer service.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including rotating shifts.
  • Proficient in basic computer software (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of health insurance and pharmacy transactions is an asset.
  • Ability to multitask and manage a high volume of requests.
  • University degree or diploma considered an asset.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
