Senior Linux DevOps Engineer - Remote

Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for the stable operation of applications and data flows within a Linux-based environment (Ubuntu & Red Hat), where a migration to PostgreSQL has previously been carried out. You will ensure that applications are properly integrated, database accessible, and can be operated efficiently.

• Several years of experience in operating Linux systems (Ubuntu & Red Hat)
• Strong SQL skills – you can write, verify, and optimize queries
• Experience in stable application operation after system migrations or changes
• Understanding of DevOps principles such as automation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Independent, structured working style with a high sense of responsibility
• Very good German language skills
• A clean record is required
• This mandate can be billed through your own company

Requirements

• More than 3 years of experience in Linux system administration
• Proficiency in SQL for query optimization
• Experience with application stability post-migration
• Knowledge of DevOps methodologies
• Ability to work independently and responsibly
• Fluency in German
