Senior Network Engineer (iMaster and Fortimanager) - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer for one of our clients with product knowledge in Huawei (iMaster) and Fortinet (Fortimanager). You will implement customer projects in the municipal environment, which includes planning (VLAN, IP addressing, etc.) according to specifications, coordinating partners for installation or WAN connections, configuring switches/access points in iMaster, commissioning switches/access points (Huawei using iMaster) and Fortigate firewalls, integration into RADIUS, TACACS, monitoring, CMDB as per specifications, and acceptance. Additionally, you will take on operational tasks such as rolling out firmware upgrades or taking over fault analyses.

Requirements

• Technical education with extensive experience in network implementation
• Completed studies (HF/FH) or comparable education in computer science or telematics
• Very good knowledge of networks in OSI layers 1-4
• Proven knowledge in network architecture and design
• Knowledge of Huawei (iMaster) and Fortinet (Fortimanager) is highly desirable
• Language skills: German B2, English is an advantage
• Clean record
• 60 - 80% workload
