Overview

The Senior Manager of Network Engineering is responsible for the architecture, deployment, and operations of a global enterprise network spanning data centers, cloud environments, and multi-office locations. This role combines hands-on technical depth with leadership of highly skilled engineers, ensuring the network is secure, resilient, and scalable to meet current and future business demands.

• Lead a team of network engineers responsible for LAN/WAN, WLAN, firewalls, VPN, cloud connectivity, and data center networking.
• Define the enterprise network architecture roadmap (SD-WAN, zero-trust, hybrid/multi-cloud integration).
• Establish reference architectures, design standards, and operational best practices across offices and data centers.
• Oversee capacity planning, network performance optimization, and future-state architecture strategy.
• Own 24/7 network availability, resiliency, and performance across multiple geographies.
• Ensure redundancy, automated failover, and disaster recovery strategies that align with a 99.99%+ SLA.
• Direct root cause analysis (RCA) and remediation plans for major incidents.
• Champion adoption of emerging technologies (automation, network observability, AI/ML-driven monitoring).
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and enterprise licensing.
• Support firmwide initiatives, ensuring IT services enable productivity, collaboration, and compliance.

Requirements

• 15+ years in enterprise network engineering and architecture.
• 7+ years in a leadership/management role.
• Proven experience overseeing large-scale, multi-office enterprise network environments.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-team collaboration skills.
• Deep technical expertise in Routing & Switching, Firewalls & Security, WAN/Cloud, and Virtualization.
