Network Engineering Manager - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a technical manager to lead our network engineering team with a vision and guidance to define and support The Company's strategy. This role will be key in designing our network and growing the skills and value of our global engineering team. Driving Standardization and Innovation in our infrastructure.

In Short

• Develop a multi-year strategy and roadmap to manage network growth, capacity, and evolving priorities.
• Prioritize initiatives to satisfy business requirements amongst internal improvements.
• Manage our hardware lifecycle.
• Collaborate with internal groups to gather requirements, propose designs, implement solutions and support our global trading infrastructure.
• Establish and maintain robust and secure network connections between on-premise data centers and cloud.
• Implement and oversee automated network deployments and monitoring tools.
• Available at all times for issue escalation and team support.

Requirements

• 5+ years of managing or leading Network Engineering Operations.
• 10+ years of network engineering and operations experience.
• Experience managing many projects and workflows with changing priorities.
• Experience using Python, Ansible, and Jinja2.
• Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS.
• Experience with AWS cloud networking concepts.
• Experience deploying and supporting multiple vendors.
• Experience with operating Linux systems.
• Good communication skills.
