We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Solar Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for educating potential customers about solar energy solutions, guiding them through the sales process, and providing exceptional customer service. Your expertise in solar sales and technical knowledge will help clients make informed decisions about their energy needs. In Short

  • Engage with potential customers to assess their energy needs and educate them on solar solutions.
  • Conduct site assessments to determine the feasibility of solar installations.
  • Develop customized proposals that outline the benefits of solar energy for each client.
  • Utilize Salesforce and other software tools to manage leads, track sales progress, and maintain customer relationships.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process and beyond, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the installation team to ensure a smooth transition from sales to installation.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, product offerings, and competitive landscape to effectively communicate value propositions.
  • Participate in community outreach programs and events to promote solar energy awareness.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, particularly in outside sales or technical sales environments preferred but not required.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on building lasting relationships.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM software is highly desirable.
  • Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clients.
  • A solid understanding of solar technology and its benefits is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
