Project Accountant - Remote

TYLin is a globally recognized, full-service infrastructure consulting firm committed to providing innovative, cost-effective, constructible designs for the global infrastructure market. We are seeking a Project Accountant to join our Finance team remotely from anywhere within North America.

In Short

• Support Project Managers regarding contract documents and billing.
• Address overdue WIP and Accounts Receivables.
• Understand and interpret project contracts and billing terms.
• Participate in project kick-off meetings.
• Review project setup modification forms for budget and revenue recognition.
• Train Project Accounting Assistant/Billers on billing terms and setup.
• Prepare and review invoices for accuracy.
• Communicate with Project Managers about monthly project variances.
• Review sub-consultant invoices for proper coding and approval.
• Work collaboratively in a diverse and inclusive team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 3+ years project cost accounting experience.
• Experience in Architecture/Engineering consulting industry highly desired.
• Proven experience managing medium to large scale projects.
• Deltek Vision software knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and multitasking ability.
