Bowery Legal is seeking a talented attorney with experience in corporate and transactional law to serve as outside general counsel for emerging and growth companies.

• Serve as outside general counsel to early-stage and growth companies.
• Form and structure new entities and draft founder documents.
• Lead venture financings from pre-seed to Series B+.
• Manage debt transactions for venture-backed companies.
• Own closing execution and manage data rooms.
• Draft and negotiate commercial contracts.

Requirements

• Strong academic credentials with a J.D. from a top law school.
• Membership in the New York state bar.
• 2+ years of experience in a top national law firm or in-house.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
