DevOps Engineer - Remote

In Short

• Build, maintain, and monitor cloud-based infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
• Develop custom tools, scripts, and services to automate operational tasks.
• Collaborate closely with software engineers.
• Implement application level changes to rollout new tools.
• Automate processes and workflows.
• Create and manage technical infrastructure documentation.
• Monitor virtual infrastructure and be part of a 24x7 on-call rotation.
• Strong focus on automation and avoiding manual tasks.
• Must reside in the U.S. Eastern Time Zone.
• Attention to detail is crucial.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, Terraform, and Terragrunt.
• 3+ years in an SRE, DevOps, or Systems Engineering role.
• Proficient in a high-level programming language like Ruby, Python, or Go.
• Experience with AWS and/or Google Cloud.
• Strong experience in a Linux-based environment.
• Experience writing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiar with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Resourceful and able to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ownership of tasks and documentation.
