Payroll Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for providing timely and accurate delivery of payroll for four main groups of employees: Canada, USA, UK & Australia.

In Short

• Administer, process and review Canadian, US, Australia and UK Payroll
• Maintain and update employee information for payroll calculations
• Prepare and verify statements of earnings for employees
• Process all employee payroll related payments
• Complete forms for administration of benefits
• Prepare payroll related filings and supporting documentation
• Provide information on payroll matters and benefit plans
• Review employer contributions to statutory programs
• Ensure payroll remittances are filed on time
• Assist with periodical audits

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience running payroll using ADP
• Experience managing full cycle payroll for 250+ employees
• Experience with year-end processing and filing
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of legislation and regulatory compliance in Canada
• PCP designation is a plus
• Proven ability to work with confidential information
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to interact with all levels within the company
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
