Communications Integration Lead - Remote

Overview

INTECON, LLC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Communications Integration Lead to support AFWERX’s Strategic Communications and Events Teams. This role is responsible for ensuring seamless coordination between the strategic communications strategists and the events team, aligning strategic planning with event execution to maximize program impact.

In Short

• Ensure open and continuous communication between the events team and strategic communications strategists.
• Lead regular coordination meetings to track progress and share updates.
• Work with strategic communications strategists to integrate program milestones into event planning.
• Monitor progress on both sides, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Collect and analyze feedback and performance data from events.
• Provide strategic communications strategists with key data and insights.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration to drive engagement and mission success.
• Ensure branding and messaging consistency across events.
• Identify and mitigate potential scheduling conflicts.
• Support the events team in executing program-aligned events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in event management or program management.
• Proven track record of leading complex events.
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Familiarity with event planning software and project management tools.
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote organization.
• Strong experience in stakeholder engagement.
• Flexibility to adapt to fast-paced environments.
• Active Secret Clearance required.
