As an IT Procurement and Operations Lead at Instacart, you will play a crucial role in managing IT procurement, vendor negotiations, and cost-saving initiatives to support the IT and Business Systems team.

• Lead contract negotiations for IT contracts under $500K.
• Partner with Strategic Procurement and Legal teams for contracts over $500K.
• Manage and maintain contract data and reporting.
• Oversee the purchasing process for IT software and hardware.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities and drive savings.
• Track IT savings and report on procurement ROI.
• Manage IT vendor onboarding and approval processes.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers.
• Monthly reconciliation of corporate credit card expenses.

Requirements

• 5+ years in IT procurement or similar technical roles.
• Experience with software licensing and volume purchasing.
• Strong negotiation skills and understanding of contract models.
• Proven track record of cost reduction and productivity improvements.
• Familiarity with IT SaaS tools and infrastructure hardware.
• Strong quantitative problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Self-motivated with strong ownership.
