We are seeking a highly skilled, hands on Director of Hardware Engineering to own and lead the design and execution of hardware devices and platforms. As a senior member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our hardware solutions.

• Lead Hardware Design Projects: Oversee the end-to-end design and development of new devices, from conceptualization to production.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with software engineers, mechanical engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
• Innovate and Optimize: Stay current with industry trends and introduce new technologies.
• Embed Rigorous Design for Excellence (DfX) Mindset: Conduct design reviews and drive rigorous DfX methodologies.
• Mentor Team Members: Provide technical guidance and mentorship.
• Ensure Quality, Reliability, and Compliance: Oversee prototyping, testing, and validation of hardware.
• Problem-Solve: Troubleshoot complex hardware issues.
• Strategic Planning: Contribute to the long-term hardware roadmap.

Requirements

• Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience: 8+ years of hands-on hardware engineering experience.
• Technical Expertise: Proficient in circuit design, PCB layout, and hardware debugging.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Adaptability: Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Start-up experience is a plus.
