Controller - Remote

Overview

As the Controller, you will be responsible for driving the full spectrum of Inspiren’s financial operations, including corporate accounting, compliance, financial reporting and internal controls.

In Short

• Oversee the preparation and timely delivery of the company’s financial statements.
• Lead the redesign and optimization of financial reporting processes.
• Develop and maintain the annual budget to align with organizational goals.
• Enhance and implement financial and accounting systems.
• Monitor daily cash transactions and manage cash flow.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant tax laws.
• Collaborate with external auditors during audits.
• Provide strategic guidance and hands-on support to the accounting team.
• Identify and implement cost-saving measures.
• Collaborate closely with senior leadership to optimize financial performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• 5+ years in a financial leadership role.
• 3+ years with financial reporting and analysis.
• Expertise in preparing and improving financial statements.
• Proficiency in financial data analysis and forecasting.
• Experience with budget development and variance analysis.
• Knowledge of GAAP compliance and regulations.
• Previous management of accounting teams.
• Successful implementation of financial systems and controls.
