Senior CFX Character Technical Director - Remote

Overview

Insomniac Games is looking for a Senior CFX Character Technical Director responsible for creating character setups and simulating anatomy, cloth, and hair for both offline and real-time applications.

• Responsible for high quality character simulations.
• Create AAA quality character simulations for various features.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in character setup and simulation.
• Expert-level knowledge of simulation setups in Houdini/Vellum, nCloth, and ZivaVFX.
• Strong knowledge of shot-finaling techniques.
• Strong knowledge of physical anatomy for realistic deformations.
• Experience with runtime simulation systems.
• Strong knowledge of Maya and scripting in MEL, Python, and PyMel.
• Basic knowledge of DOS.
