Mission Director - Remote

Overview

Insomniac Games is looking for a Mission Director. In this role the Mission Director leads the creative development of a set of missions within a game. Ensures excellent deliverables at every stage of the mission pipeline by upholding the vision, setting development goals, communicating decisions, evaluating builds, adjusting priorities, and solving problems in collaboration with project leaders and mission pods.

In Short

• Leads a set of cross-disciplinary pods in the development of exceptional missions
• Defines mission development goals and success measures in coordination with project leaders
• Guides the creation of mission briefs, pitches, mission stories, and gameplay beats
• Ensures constructive two-way communication between project leaders and mission pods
• Plays the game at all stages of development to evaluate progress
• Synthesizes feedback and crafts plans of action
• Promotes pod and individual ownership for problem-solving
• Builds development plans to deliver missions on time and within budget
• Fosters a safe work environment addressing complaints and concerns
• Other duties may be assigned
