Senior QA Engineer (Backend Focused) - Remote

Overview

The Senior QA Engineer will ensure software quality by applying best engineering practices and test automation, focusing on backend solutions for the InPost Group.

In Short

• Ensure software quality through best practices and test automation.
• Responsible for automation of components, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure quality of assigned applications/products.
• Ensure features meet requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Contribute to test architecture and create test plans.
• Develop and execute exploratory and automation tests.
• Design and document test cases in a common repository.
• Report test results and maintain test data.
• Conduct requirements and documentation analysis/testing.
• Create and maintain automation test suites in CI tools.

Requirements

• Experience in test automation in Java.
• Proficiency in API test automation and familiarity with tools like Postman.
• Strong understanding of SQL databases.
• Knowledge of SDLC and Bug Life Cycle.
• Familiarity with BDD in Java (Cucumber).
• Proficiency in CI tools like GitLab CI or Jenkins.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English (spoken & written).
