Overview

This is a full-time Senior Backend Engineer position with flexible working arrangements. While our headquarters are located in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area, we welcome both remote and in-office candidates.

In Short

Design and develop high-performance, scalable backend services
Collaborate with our engineering team to accelerate development
Implement and optimize our GraphQL API layer for high-load scenarios
Contribute to infrastructure architecture using cloud services
Participate in code reviews and technical planning
Work cross-functionally with frontend and product teams

Requirements

5+ years of backend development experience with distributed systems
Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Go and/or Python
Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS or equivalent platforms)
GraphQL implementation and optimization expertise
Experience with graph databases
Knowledge of message queue systems
Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with containerization and microservices
