Controller - Remote

Overview

The Controller will oversee the accounting operations and financial activities of Innovapptive, ensuring compliance with regulations and preparing financial statements.

In Short

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including ledger, accounts payable, and receivable.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and accounting standards.
• Lead the audit process with external auditors.
• Manage revenue and billing processes.
• Build relationships with stakeholders including the executive team and Board of Directors.
• Develop processes to improve efficiency in accounting functions.
• Prepare technical accounting memorandums as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA required.
• Minimum of 5 years of public and corporate accounting experience.
• Big 4 public accounting experience preferred.
• Proficient in U.S. GAAP and technical accounting.
• 2 years of experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
