Application Engineer I - Remote

Overview

The Application Engineer I is responsible for developing a wide range of Ignition applications and solutions, contributing to both smaller demonstration applications and larger team initiatives.

In Short

• Develop compelling Ignition applications and solutions.
• Work closely with Sales Engineers to provide Ignition expertise.
• Contribute to larger team initiatives.
• Develop front-end and back-end solutions for desktop and mobile platforms.
• Assist with R&D and technical documentation.
• Build Ignition Exchange resources.
• Test and maintain cloud-based solutions.
• Understand complex systems quickly.
• Design test scenarios and assist with benchmark testing.
• Remote, hybrid, and onsite opportunities available.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar.
• 1-2 years of development experience.
• Good knowledge of SQL Databases and SQL language.
• Experienced in Python and Java programming.
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with both front-end and back-end development.
• Proficient in UI/UX design.
• Preferred: Experience using Ignition.
