Mental Health Therapist (New York Licensed) - Remote

Overview

Imagine is hiring a licensed adolescent clinical therapist to support our pediatric patients and their families. The therapist will provide therapy to children and their families as well as consult with schools and medical providers to ensure the highest quality care across settings.

In Short

• Assess and provide brief targeted therapeutic interventions for children and adolescents via teletherapy.
• Provide evidence-based interventions such as cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy.
• Conduct crisis assessments and facilitate interventions for psychiatric emergencies.
• Document visits with critical detail in electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with medical teams and families for patient care.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling or related area.
• Must be licensed to independently practice in New York.
• 1-2 years’ experience post independent licensure in a behavioral health setting.
• Experience working with children, adolescents, and their caregivers.
• Certification in evidence-based modalities including CBT and DBT.
