Licensing Specialist - Remote

Overview

As a Licensing Specialist at Imagine Pediatrics, you will play a critical role, enabling our providers to make sure every child with complex medical conditions gets the care and support they deserve.

In Short

• Manage the end-to-end process of acquiring new licenses for multi-disciplinary Providers.
• Communicate with providers and administration for primary source verification.
• Complete all applications electronically or via mail as prescribed by state boards.
• Conduct primary source verification and validate documents for completeness.
• Complete DEA and/or controlled substance licenses for MDs and APPs.
• Manage renewal of Licenses and Certifications to avoid impact on patient care.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies that could impact Licensure.
• Convey roadblocks to Licensure for decision making.
• Maintain professional growth through seminars and workshops.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience handling Provider Licensure.
• Extensive experience with Medicaid in a multi-state organization.
• Telehealth experience strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.
• Ability to use independent judgment and manage confidential information.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in communications.
• Advanced working knowledge of Verifiable, Athena, and Microsoft Office.
• Advanced skills in spreadsheeting and database management.
