Overview

We’re Smart City, and we’re on the hunt for a detail-loving, people-obsessed HR & Licensing Specialist to join our growing team. This role sits at the heart of our HR operations, managing everything from prelicensing and onboarding to HR systems and employee questions.

In Short

• Managing the full prelicensing process for our future agents
• Keeping licensing requirements up-to-date across all states
• Leading Day One onboarding sessions via Zoom
• Processing new hires, transfers, and terminations
• Supporting managers and team members with HR tools
• Posting open roles and assisting in the hiring process
• Running reports and spreadsheets for smooth operations
• Handling admin tasks like company mail
• Responding to candidate and internal questions
• Supporting new HR projects for process improvement

Requirements

• 3+ years of HR, recruiting, or administrative experience
• Experience with tools like TriNet, Breezy, Google Workspace, and Asana
• Solid Excel/Google Sheets skills
• Bonus points for experience with licensing or HR compliance
