Senior Backend Developer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for our next Senior Backend Developer to join our team and collaborate with an important banking entity. This profile will be responsible for creating and managing the server side of applications, databases, and business logic, ensuring that the data flow between the server and client functions correctly.

In Short

• Work in a team to ensure the enterprise and technical architecture of the delivered solution meets business requirements.
• Design, develop, integrate, test, and implement complex business requirements effectively.
• Apply technological knowledge to design models and/or systems, formulate detailed technical designs, research and recommend technical solutions, develop and deliver applications using agile development methodologies.
• Technical leadership, coordination between labs, production support, and support for version deployment.

Requirements

• More than 5 years of experience in development.
• Technical mastery of Java (17+).
• Event-driven architecture.
• OAuth2.
• JUnit, Mockito.
• JavaScript.
• Jest, NPM.
• SDUI, PACT, PACT broker.
• Unit testing experience.
• Relational databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL, DB2 / NoSQL databases: Mongo, Redis.
• Design, development, implementation, and consumption of REST services.
• Knowledge of Spring.
• Experience with Gradle, Git, GitFlow.
• Use of design patterns, OO, and good development practices.
• Knowledge of Jenkins (CI), Sonar, Checkmarx, Fortify.
• Experience with application monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, etc.
• Development or integration of microservices - Familiarity with REST APIs.
• Experience and knowledge in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Very good understanding of current IT practices and software development methodologies like Scrum and Agile.
