Overview

The Vice President of Customer Data Strategy will be responsible for developing and leading a comprehensive customer data strategy, using data to personalize customer experiences, grow loyalty and retention, and drive business growth.

  • Ownership of customer data across 50,000+ products and 180 global markets.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to unify data-driven strategies.
  • Develop strategies to position iHerb as a personalized health and wellness platform.
  • Build and optimize customer segmentation models.
  • Create unified customer journeys that encourage long-term engagement.
  • Forecast customer behavior trends and identify revenue opportunities.
  • Partner with Marketing Team to design loyalty-driving initiatives.
  • Stay informed about health, wellness, and e-commerce trends.
  • Train and collaborate with internal teams on data-driven mindset.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience, with at least 5 years in e-commerce.
  • Deep understanding of CDPs, personalization, and marketing automation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to build and manage high-performing teams.
  • Experience with A/B testing and statistical modeling.
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations.
  • Experience managing large-scale data projects.
  • Passion for data-driven decision making.
