Overview

The Medical Coder plays a key role in performing accurate coding and billing services within the billing department, contributing to the company's mission of providing treatment for opioid use disorder.

  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

  • Maintain knowledge of current billing rules and trends.
  • Meet department goals on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • Ideal candidate should have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Requires a minimum of one year of physician coding experience.
  • AAPC or AHIMA certification is necessary.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least one year of experience in physician coding.
  • AAPC Credential: Minimum certification of a CPC, or AHIMA certification.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Internet.
