Software Engineer - Remote

Overview

ICF is seeking a Software Engineer/Developer to participate in building and maintaining web-based applications for government agencies focused on child welfare and justice grants.

In Short

• Work in a 100% remote role from anywhere within the US.
• Collaborate with teams to define and implement solutions based on stakeholder needs.
• Design back-end and front-end web-based software or customize software for clients.
• Analyze and design databases within application areas.
• Apply best practices in multiple technical domains.
• Capture and share best practice knowledge with technical teams.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful Permanent Resident Alien.
• 3+ years of experience delivering resilient, consumer-facing web applications.
• Experience with SQL queries and database development.
• Utilize programs such as Oracle, Typescript, Java, Drupal, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
• Experience working within a DOJ team.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to engage and take ownership of tasks.
• Experience with AWS-based deployments is a plus.
