2026 Summer Intern, Customer Insights and Behavioral Science - Remote

Overview

This internship offers a unique opportunity to support the Customer Insights Team at ICF, focusing on qualitative, quantitative, and behavioral science research to enhance utility programs and services.

In Short

• 10-week full-time internship from June to August.
• Fully remote position from any U.S. location.
• Support quantitative and qualitative research activities.
• Conduct analysis and reporting on research findings.
• Create infographics and customer journey maps.
• Strong writing and communication skills required.
• Minimum of 30 college-level credit hours required.
• Interest in energy efficiency and clean energy is a plus.
• Experience with MS Office Applications required.
• Knowledge of survey research software and data analysis software is a plus.

Requirements

• Minimum of 30 completed college-level credit hours.
• Preferred majors: social/behavioral science, environmental science, public policy, marketing.
• Ability to pass required background checks.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience with MS Office Applications.
• Interest in climate communication and consumer behavior.
• Familiarity with survey research software (Qualtrics, Alchemer) is a plus.
• Familiarity with data analysis software (SPSS, R) is a plus.
