Senior Data Mining and Analytics Engineer - Remote

Overview

ICF International seeks an experienced Senior Data Mining and Analytics Engineer to support the research and development of new cyber analytic capabilities that will help the US protect and defend its networks and critical information systems.

In Short

• Support a large federal cyber security analytic program.
• Contribute to knowledge on cyber-attacks and vulnerabilities.
• Develop analytic solutions for various use cases.
• Work with the Analytics Research team for platform enhancements.
• Perform knowledge elicitation from customer subject matter experts.
• Manage teams of system administrators and prioritize work.
• Oversee transitions from third-party vendors to the analytic environment.
• Develop custom data modeling procedures for data mining.
• Monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
• Communicate results to non-technical customers.

Requirements

• Active high-level security clearance required.
• US Citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years or Master’s degree with 10+ years in a related field.
• Experience with cyber threats, tools, and techniques.
• Advanced knowledge in data modeling and analytics.
• Effective communication skills with clients.
• Experience with analytic tools and data governance.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python or R.
• Experience with SQL querying.
• Familiarity with the Databricks Intelligence Platform.
