Payroll Specialist - Remote

Overview

iCapital seeks a motivated Payroll professional to join our growing Corporate Finance team. This role will assist the Global Payroll Vice President in managing the company’s current in house and outsourced payrolls, provide payroll insight and services to employees and partners, and help execute related processes and payroll data management.

In Short

• Assist with US, Canada, UK, Hong Kong, Singapore, Portugal, Switzerland, and Japan payrolls.
• Reconcile all changes that affect pay including salary adjustments, location changes, and bonuses.
• Review and finalize timesheets for US non-exempt employees.
• Manage relationships with payroll service partners.
• Assist with reconciling and approving payrolls.
• Manage state employment tax requirements.
• Coordinate data for audit responses.
• Be the point of contact for payroll-related issues.
• Gain experience with new software.
• Collaborate on important projects within Corporate Finance.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a Payroll Specialist.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• Certified Payroll Certification (CPP) preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of payroll processing and compliance.
• Strong understanding of payroll regulations and tax laws.
• Proficiency in payroll software, especially Dayforce.
• Exceptional accuracy in handling sensitive data.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• High level of organizational skills.
