Financial Reporting Professional - Remote

Overview

iCapital is seeking an experienced and versatile Financial Reporting professional to join our Corporate Finance department. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to shape a rapidly growing area of financial reporting, which includes preparation of financial statements, maintenance of accounting records and files, assistance with annual parent and statutory audits, implementation and testing of internal controls, assistance with equity accounting and reporting, and more. The ideal candidate is as comfortable drafting clear, professional written and verbal communications, as they are working with complex data sets.

In Short

• Assist with the compilation of monthly and annual financial statements.
• Research technical accounting guidance for new accounting pronouncements.
• Prepare and review auditor requests and partner with external auditors.
• Identify gaps in current processes and implement SOX compliant internal controls.
• Support ad hoc initiatives such as equity record keeping and accounting analysis.
• Partner with various teams on processing new equity awards and stock option exercises.
• Complete monthly international financial reporting and analysis.
• Input, extract and analyze sets of data using iCapital’s equity management software.
• Prepare monthly close journal entries and maintain supporting schedules.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting.
• CPA certified or a candidate currently in process.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in accounting or auditing.
• Experience with SOX internal controls testing.
• Exceptional ability in data management and written communications.
• Advanced Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables).
• Experience with General Ledger systems (e.g., Oracle NetSuite, SAP) preferred.
• General US GAAP accounting knowledge.
• Self-motivated, flexible, detail-oriented.

• Base salary range of $70,000 to $110,000.
