Lead – Financial Reporting - Remote

In Short

• Manage cost and expense accounting, ensuring accurate financial statement verification.
• Lead month-end and quarter-end closing processes.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations for expense-related accounts.
• Prepare expense-related financial reporting decks for senior leadership.
• Identify and drive process improvements in expense accounting.
• Collaborate with business finance teams for proper cost allocations.
• Ensure compliance with SOX/internal audit requirements.
• Support ad-hoc financial analysis and projects.
• Work with ERP systems and financial automation tools.
• Provide insights on cost trends and opportunities for optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA, ACCA, ACA, CMA, or equivalent certification preferred.
• 3–4 years in accounting or finance with a focus on cost accounting.
• In-depth understanding of IFRS/GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Familiarity with financial automation and analytics tools is a plus.
• Prior experience with SOX compliance is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership.
