Local Technical Project Consultant, ICAO ACT-SAF Assistance Project - Remote

Overview

The Local Technical Project Consultant will support the ICAO ACT-SAF Assistance Project, focusing on capacity building for sustainable aviation fuels and the reduction of CO₂ emissions from international aviation.

• Provide support in operational guidelines and tools.
• Identify specific circumstances for project initiation.
• Coordinate implementation of feasibility studies.

• Work under the guidance of the ICAO Assistance Project Team.

Requirements

• Advanced university degree in aviation, law, finance, or related discipline preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation.
• Experience in climate change projects.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of fiduciary standards.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Experience working in developing States, particularly in Africa.
• Fluency in additional languages (Arabic, French, Spanish) is a plus.
