International Consultant for RMNCAH Strategy Development in EAC - Remote

Overview

The consultancy aims to support the Integrated Health Programme of the East African Secretariat in developing the EAC RMNCAH Strategy 2025-2030, aligned with global, continental, and regional commitments.

In Short

• Develop the EAC RMNCAH Strategy 2025-2030.
• Conduct a situational analysis of SRHR/RMNCAH issues.
• Review institutional and partnership arrangements.
• Facilitate a validation workshop with Member States.
• Provide periodic updates to stakeholders.
• Deliver the strategy and associated reports electronically.
• Work remotely with travel to the EAC region.
• Engage with various stakeholders including UN agencies.
• Expected to deliver within a 25-day timeframe.
• Work under the supervision of EAC health officials.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Public Health or related area.
• Seven years of experience in RMNCAH/SRHR.
• Experience in policy and strategy development.
• Familiarity with regional economic communities.
