Quantitative Software Engineer (Hybrid) - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a talented Software Engineer to support the analysis and validation of mission critical and mission support data sets. The preferred candidate will have a background in supporting cyber and/or network related missions within the military spaces, as either a developer, analyst or engineer.

• Experience in government data acquisition, analysis, and/or sharing efforts.

• Current active TS, SCI eligible security clearance required.
• BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python and Java.
• Proficiency with Unix/Linux systems required.
• Willingness to achieve required skill certification promptly.
• Hybrid work environment in Columbia, MD or San Antonio, TX.

Requirements

• Current active TS, SCI eligible security clearance.
• BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Python and Java programming languages.
• Fluency with data extraction and loading for data analytics.
• Familiarity with log formats such as JSON and XML.
• Ability to troubleshoot system and dataflow issues.
• Proficiency with Unix/Linux systems.
• Willingness to complete a programming challenge during the interview.
• Experience with NOSQL databases such as Accumulo is desired.
• Experience with Kubernetes environments is a plus.
