Functional Budget Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Remote

Overview

This role ensures that functional requirements are accurately captured, designed, tested, and implemented to support the client’s financial management, budgeting, and forecasting needs.

In Short

• Provide federal budgeting expertise
• Validate requirements against client business processes
• Develop and execute test scripts and document test results
• Prepare training guides and lead train-the-trainer sessions
• Support post-production user outreach and adoption
• Support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of SAP-based Budget and Spend solutions
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications
• Participate in gap analysis and requirements workshops
• Provide guidance on Federal Spend Plan processes
• Develop and execute unit test plans

Requirements

• Knowledge and skills in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining SAP products
• Prior experience developing functional design specifications
• Understanding of Spend Plans across Federal Civilian Agencies
• U.S. Citizen
